Ian is the Commercial Manager for the Talick Group and oversees all the commercial aspects of Circular Waste Processors. He spent over 20 years of his career in finance, rising to be a corporate finance director in investment banking, advising public and private organisations on strategy, financing, marketing, corporate governance, stakeholder relationships and other aspects of establishment and growth and gaining an MBA on the way. From 2011 to 2018 he ran a number of companies in the renewable energy sector.
Ian is a passionate advocate for climate change management, environmental and wildlife and nature conservation issues and for disability inclusion in the workplace and in sports. He is a committee member of the Lord’s Taverners sport charity for disabled and disadvantaged young people in the West of England and, through his photography activities, is a member of the International Sports Press Association and a committee member of the UK Sports Journalists’ Association.
Paul joined Talick in early 2018 and is a fully qualified Electrician with 17 years’ experience, with the last seven years focused in the field of renewable energy. He has a passion for the renewable industry and is responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of our processors. He prides himself with a professional and diligent response to all requirements of the customer at all times.
Prior to this, Paul was in the Royal Marines for 10 years. He has a keen interest in sport, which he has furthered by coaching youth teams and managing an adult’s football team. Other interests include Indian cuisine and reading, particularly historical literature.
Sam supports Circular Waste as it's financial assistant, joining the group in 2012. It's quite a distance from where she started out as designer for Poole Pottery before pursuing a career in architecture. More recently she made the move to start her accountancy training. She has a degree in 3 Dimensional Design and an HNC in Architectural Technology.
In her spare time she still draws on her creative skills as a jeweller and raises money for MS through marathon running and completing the 3 Peaks Challenge.
